UPDATE December 23, 2024
Effective Monday, January 20, 2025, Norfolk International Terminal (NIT) will serve as a container-only start/stop facility, similar to the off-site depots, container-only yards, and terminals, such as Virginia International Gateway (VIG), in which does not source bare chassis pick-ups or drop-offs. Chassis size swaps at NIT will be contingent on availability but cannot be guaranteed. HRCPII will not be responsible for demurrage or any fees associated with this policy change
HRCPII chassis can be sourced from the Portsmouth Chassis Yard (PCY). The PCY will extend its closing time one hour later than NIT closure time to provide chassis drop-off or pick-up accessibility.
